After hearing these words, Yaoye stood up resolutely, his gaze calm and unwavering.

“Oh right, there’s a world inside the Creation Cauldron. You can use it to store things now! Even in the future, when you open your own internal storage, you can keep items within yourself, but the Creation Cauldron is still useful for storing special things. I hope it helps you! If you ever need something, call for me. I can't stay outside for long!” With those words, the Old Cauldron Spirit returned to the Creation Cauldron.

Stowing away the Blood-weeping Blade with the Creation Cauldron, Yaoye moved to the rear hall, stopping before the Sky Scar Sword. He gently stroked the blade and murmured, “Senior Yang, your glory will henceforth be carried on by me.” With that, Yaoye gripped the hilt.

“Hm? Even with my current cultivation, I can’t lift it?” Yaoye stared at the massive sword in disbelief. “I refuse to believe I can’t pick you up.” Gathering all his strength and channeling spiritual energy, he finally managed to slowly lift the great sword from the ground. Slinging the Sky Scar Sword across his back, he immediately staggered under its weight. In astonishment, Yaoye exclaimed, “It actually suppresses my spiritual energy to this extent! What an excellent treasure for tempering the body!”

Yaoye decided not to store the Sky Scar Sword away, instead choosing to adapt to its weight day after day atop the God-Slaying Cliff. Now, even without channeling spiritual energy, Yaoye could move about—though not without effort—carrying the immense sword on his back.

“It’s time to leave this place,” he thought, his expression mixed with emotion as he made his way toward the side hall where the teleportation array was located. Arriving, Yaoye was stunned to find the array before him ruined.

“The teleportation array has been destroyed—how am I supposed to get out?” Panic rising, Yaoye called out to the Creation Cauldron, “Old Cauldron! Old Cauldron! Come quickly and see if there’s a way to fix this teleportation array!”

“Hmph? I barely got any rest before you’re calling for me again!” grumbled the Old Cauldron Spirit. “Old Cauldron, please look—can you repair this teleportation array? It’s the only way out at the moment!”

After examining the array, the Old Cauldron Spirit said, “Fortunately, only a few materials are damaged. I can fix it!”

As the Old Cauldron Spirit worked on the teleportation array, Yaoye sat cross-legged and cultivated. When the array was repaired, the Old Cauldron Spirit turned and looked at Yaoye, who was unwilling to waste even a moment, feeling gratified.

“Boy, pause for now. The teleportation array is ready for you to use! Remember, cultivation requires both tension and relaxation. Don’t wind yourself too tight; a bit of rest will benefit your progress.”

Opening his eyes, Yaoye slowly stood and replied, “I understand. Old Cauldron, you should return to the Creation Cauldron for now. Let’s leave this place first.” Once the Old Cauldron Spirit returned, Yaoye walked to the teleportation array, paused beside it, then turned and bowed deeply toward the main hall. “Senior Yang, Senior Nangong, I will come back to visit you!” With those words, he stepped into the teleportation array. Light blazed forth, and at last, Yaoye left the God-Slaying Cliff.

“Where is this?” Yaoye muttered curiously as he gazed at the surrounding walls, unaware that the people outside this room were in an uproar.

“Look! The room the Headmaster forbade anyone to approach is shining with dazzling light!” someone outside shouted, pointing at the building. The headmaster of the library, sensing the unusual surge of spiritual energy from afar, immediately flew toward the room.

“The Headmaster is coming! Something big must have happened!” The students watched the unfolding events with curiosity. “Disperse at once!” the Headmaster commanded sternly, and the students quickly scattered. Soon after, the Vice Headmaster and several esteemed teachers arrived. “Headmaster, what’s going on?” they asked. The Headmaster looked at them and said, “Let’s go in and see together.”

Entering the room as one, the group saw a disheveled and weary youth standing beside the now-dim teleportation array. Yaoye also regarded the group calmly, stepping forward and greeting them with a cupped fist. “May I ask, esteemed seniors—where am I?”

“This is the Divine Wind Academy, one of the three great academies. I am the Headmaster here—my name is Liu Qing. Come with me, child. I have a few questions for you.”

Yaoye followed Liu Qing and the others to the conference room. “Child, what is your name? How did you use the teleportation array? What is your identity?”

Yaoye glanced at the seniors around him, hesitating in silence. Noticing his unease, the Headmaster smiled kindly. “There’s no need to be afraid. Here at Divine Wind Academy, everyone is united. No one will harm you—you can speak freely.”

With little experience of the world, Yaoye let down his guard and slowly replied, “My name is Yaoye. I come from the primordial forest of the far north. By accident, I fell into the God-Slaying Cliff and there received the inheritance of the War God, Senior Yang Xiaotian. I used the teleportation array from the God-Slaying Cliff and arrived here.”
