Chapter 105: The Beauty Trap
After returning to the grand hall, the Bear Emperor dismissed the guards. Not long after, the female follower approached.
Without turning his head, the Bear Emperor said, "Yun’er! Are you confident? You may do as you wish with Yaoye, but you must not harm his life!"
Yun’er covered her lips with her hand and chuckled softly. "Hee hee hee! Rest assured, my lord. As the saying goes, even heroes falter at the allure of a beauty. With the special potion I’ve carefully prepared, I’m sure I can subdue him—unless that Yaoye isn’t a man!"
The Bear Emperor turned around, watching Yun’er with keen interest. "Oh? Is it really as effective as you claim?"
"Why? Does my lord wish to try it himself? Hee hee!" she teased.
When Su Yun followed the Bear Emperor, he had already learned of her scandalous private life. Frowning slightly, the Bear Emperor waved his hand.
"Go ahead and do as you wish. If you succeed, I will reward you."
"My lord, you shall await good news," Yun’er said with a confident smile.
"Go," he commanded.
Su Yun performed a deep bow and left the Bear Emperor’s chamber, heading toward the dungeon.
In the dungeon, Su Yun carried a tray of tempting food and approached Yaoye, who kept his eyes tightly shut, motionless, not even shifting his position.
She placed the food inside the cage and giggled softly. "Hee hee! Big brother, I secretly brought you some food! Please eat!"
The scent of the food stirred Yaoye’s stomach, which grumbled uncontrollably. Frowning, he still did not open his eyes.
"Big brother, are you afraid I’ve poisoned it and so won’t eat? No worries—I’ll eat it first to show you it’s safe!"
Su Yun picked up a piece of meat with chopsticks, slowly chewing it with relish.
Yaoye’s stomach growled again, but his resolve remained firm.
Setting down the chopsticks, Su Yun stood and pretended to be angry, stamping her foot coldly. Then, she casually opened a jade bottle she carried, releasing a unique, fragrant aroma.
"Hmph! I pity you and kindly bring you food, yet you won’t even glance my way!"
Remembering that the ancestor had told him someone would come to take him away, though uncertain if it was this woman, Yaoye, curious, slowly opened his eyes.
Seeing Yaoye’s gaze upon her, Su Yun’s heart leapt with joy, her face breaking into a delighted smile. Clasping her hands behind her back, she quickly formed hand seals. A pink energy radiated softly from her body, drifting slowly toward Yaoye.
Sensing something amiss, Yaoye sniffed the air cautiously. Su Yun covered her mouth, giggling.
"My lord, does it smell good? This is a special incense I prepared just for you today! By the way, eat something quickly! Only by surviving can hope remain!"
After pondering briefly, Yaoye crawled toward the food, scooped it up, and began to eat heartily.
Eating too hastily, he started coughing violently, which made Su Yun laugh.
"Hee hee hee! Is it delicious, my lord? Eat slowly. If you like it, I’ll bring you more tomorrow!"
At this moment, Su Yun’s enchantment took effect. Hearing such a familiar voice, Yaoye was stunned and lifted his head.
Seeing Su Yun’s drastically changed appearance, he abandoned the food and rushed toward her, his hands reaching instinctively to touch her cheeks.
"Senior sister! Is it really you?"
Tears streamed down Yaoye’s face. Su Yun, seeing this, smiled smugly—he was still a hopeless romantic. She decided to tease him further, slipping fully into her role.
"Yaoye! It’s me! Your senior sister misses you so much! Have you missed me?"
"Yes! Every day!"
Suddenly, Yaoye grew anxious, waving his hands as if to push Su Yun away.
"Senior sister, you must leave! This place is dangerous! Please, go!"
When Su Yun felt Yaoye’s rejection, she thought her plan had failed. But upon hearing his words, she smiled triumphantly.
"Yaoye! There’s nothing to fear! No one is guarding nearby. Give me the Creation Cauldron to keep it from the demons!"
At the mention of the Creation Cauldron, Yaoye cautiously stepped back two paces, staring intently at Su Yun.
"Yaoye, don’t you trust me? Hurry! If we’re discovered, I won’t be able to leave!"
Seeing his suspicion, Su Yun continued to channel her energy, enticing him further. Gradually, Yaoye became entranced once more.
He stepped forward, gazing at his senior sister, sorrow filling his eyes.
"Senior sister! Why did you deceive me? Why did you cripple me? What wrong did I ever do?"
His pain was palpable as he clutched his chest, half-kneeling. Suddenly, he spat a mouthful of blood onto the ground, his face paling to an ashen white. His eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
Su Yun hurried forward anxiously, shaking his arm vigorously.
"Hey! Hey! Are you alright?"
She quickly checked his pulse, steadied him sitting upright, then began to channel her energy to soothe his body.
