The Remaining Third Leave of Absence Note (Happy New Year)

Taking a break on the first day of the New Year; regular updates will resume tomorrow. Writing novels has always been my lifelong passion. At present, my outlines are complete, and I have stockpiled twenty-five stories with tightly interwoven plots, so there is no need to worry that I will run out of tales to tell.

Now, my dilemma is whether to write the next book as a historical detective suspense, a science fiction suspense, or perhaps begin the first volume of a second series. As for the detective anthology exceeding a million words, I need to pause for a while; I feel I am not yet ready to tackle pure classic detective fiction on such a grand scale, especially since that book connects eighteen cases into one overarching storyline... I seem to be rambling a bit, haha. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
